Scottsdale Mural of No Name – "Like a deer in the headlights"
Most people think the mural is an homage to the late not great No Name, but think again…..
"Take a look, a close look at the “Maverick Mural” which is under consideration by the Scottsdale City Council on appeal….
Their depiction typically shows a wide view with parked cars at the base of the 30,000 pixel mural. Strip away the cars and behold, the late Senator John McCain’s jaw is in the ground and there are six or eight fingers covering his mouth and cheeks.
The mural promoters put an image of John McCain literally in the headlamps of cars.
Just like a deer in the headlights. . . . Oh, also there is a red star to the left."
