Question for anons…

My kid has a stack of mature Series EE Patriot Bonds saved from when he was a baby. Could bonds be worthless when the Fed/Central banking ends? I've advised him to cash them in then use the money to buy silver and gold. Seems more solid to me than bonds at this point.

Anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks, frens.
