After Years of Lobbying, Starbucks STILL Hasn’t Banned Child Porn from Its WiFi Networks
For more than four years, a non-profit has been leaning on Starbucks to block illicit content, including child pornography, from its public WiFi inside its stores without success.
“We started the ‘Safe WiFi’ campaign a number of years ago, and we asked Starbucks and McDonald’ to lead corporate America to voluntarily filter their public WiFi from two types of content – pornography, and child pornography,” said Enough is Enough founder Donna Rice Hughes in an interview with Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk.
Enough is Enough is described as the “national leader on the front lines of making the Internet safer for children and families.” Founded in 1994, it “has pioneered and led the effort to confront online pornography, child pornography, child stalking and sexual predation with innovative initiatives and effective communications.”
