yes magnetic pole shifts happen, but if the crust shifted as described in that cia doc, it would be a 90% or greater extinction in the fossil record, while there are events not 90% or greater, which was described in that crap of a document.

The deaths would show up in a mass extinction. If you got winds 1000 MPH and a wave high enough to drown everything short of the pikes peak, you just had a mass extinction of 90% or greater, and those remains would form fossils, and we would see them.

OK then we can go to MIT, but those types of things have good documentation as far as extinction events, and if 1000 MPH winds, and waves mile high washed over the earth every 100,000 years or so, all there would be are sea life.
