Thinking out loud here. Monsanto (Bayer now) was in news again today with judge ruling to allow evidence they wanted suppressed to come in. Does anyone else ever wonder WHY would a company like Bayer buy a company that had a dark cloud hanging overhead with pending lawsuits and so much evidence over the years about their products causing cancer? I mean, PG&E is in the news now and about to go bankrupt and is facing massive liability with the CA fires…That would be like another electric company buying them out. Why would a company do that? Every time I hear about the Monsanto trial and evidence being released, I always wonder why Bayer would tarnish its name and want to face all the lawsuits potentially down the road. I appreciate all the great minds here and know someone besides me has been baffled by this.
But there were massive leaks and lots of info in the public regarding their knowledge about the harm of their products, and I believe lots of pending lawsuits. I would think Bayer would have great minds when contemplating the buyout.
OK, true on that. Other countries have banned Monsanto & GMO products completely. Why hasn't the US raised more of a stink? I know, $$$$$. UGH.
You really think they're going down? Feels like all these corps are just too big to fail and the tentacles are so deep. Sorry, but trying to stay positive and some days it's really difficult, knowing what we know. Have learned so much from this board and haven't slept a straight 8 hours in so long. Information overload and brain running 24/7. Thanks for being here.
ThankQ for that. From your lips to God's ears.
You're right about the opening lawsuit. See on TV lawfag ads for class action for causing lymphoma. Also, POTUS made the push for more corn for fuel, so there's that, too. Why wouldn't the FDA or EPA come out and give warnings at least or even issue recalls on Cheerios, etc..?
YESSSSS! When MSM goes down and we have some honest new media, hoping more info will be disseminated and louder voices will prevail!
Love these Pepes. I feel better now, fren. Thank you.
