And while they have one of their guys in the kitchen, our nightly dose of The Greatest Story Never Told will be coming along shortly.
>4. Without the GS, what can you redeem your $100 bill for?
You need it to pay the king's tax.
Yes. Exactly.
For months I've been trying to get anons to understand that Trump is not going to burn down the economy so that the gold-bugs can be kings of the ashes.
> maybe even what the system is?
Probably pretty close to the current system. What we have now actually works fairly well. The big problem with it is that the people in charge are able to manipulate it for their personal profit. I think the biggest change you'll see is that the sign in front of what is now the Fed will say "United States Treasury" on it.
>And the deficit and government debt?
Seized assets will make most of the debt go away. And I have a hunch that oil export duties will have something to do with it. A more vigorous economy and smaller government will fix the deficit issue.
>Listen to Benjamin Fulford
That guy has been harping about a currency reset any day now for 10 years. He doesn't know anything.
>I think they have to "seize" the deficit and just zero it out.
What about the people who lent the government money are are expecting to get it back someday? Are they screwed? Most of those people are us. If you have a 401k or pension then you are an owner of part of the national debt. They could simply print cash to pay all of the debtors. But that would be inflationary (it's called "monetizing the debt"). Fed debt could be zeroed out. But that would also be inflationary because it would make the williynilly printing become "real". It hasn't been inflationary yet (not much, anyway) because it was created as debt and they promise to unprint it when it's payed back someday.
>What if Venezuela situation is just a turf war.
This much you are correct about. But you are forgetting that Russia is one of the sides. They want to keep Venezuela within their sphere of influence and keep that oil in the ground. The declining price of oil has been DEVASTATING to their budget (Russia is effectively a petro-state). The last thing they want is for a bunch of American oil companies to swoop in with $10B in state-of-the-art extraction/refinery tech and flood the market ever more.
>They're saying they're withholding Venezuela's gold for ideological reasons, but I think there is something bigger going on.
They know that the current gov is a bunch or morons who will only blow it and screw over their country even more. They are waiting for some sensible people to take over.
