Everything must be paid for. There is a cosmic law which says that every satisfaction must be paid for with a dissatisfaction.

You see, the ancients understood far more about Man and the Universe than we've been led to believe. The phrase, "as above, so below" pre-dates Socrates, to whom it is popularly attributed.
They understood how to develop the being of men so that they could be responsive to something higher and communicated it to us in the form of oral traditions, myths, religious ceremonies, architecture, music and musical scales (Law of Octaves). dance, etc.
Then comes Aristotle with his logic, along with the "I think therefore I am" and "education", and we were ruined.
But, here we are and there still remains a possibility.
