SPEAKING OF VENEZUELA GOLD

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/01/28/venezuelas-interim-president-asks-bank-england-stop-nicolas/

Saw this a few days ago, Anons, but it didn't seem noteworthy until today.

Maduro has been trying to repatriate gold from London, but the bank has been denying him based on his questionable validity, or something (insert excuse here).

John Bolton, the national security adviser, added: โ€œThe authoritarian regime of Chavez and Maduro has allowed the penetration of adversaries, not least Cuba. We think that is a strategic threat to the United States, and there are others โ€“ not least Iran.

โ€œIt is our mission to make reality what the people of Venezuela want.โ€

Directives sent on Friday to the US Federal Reserve will make it very hard for Mr Maduro to access Venezuela's overseas assets and earnings, including those from Houston-based Citgo, a subsidiary of state-owned oil giant PDVSA and the major source of revenue for the bankrupt government.

Oil constitutes close to 90 per cent of Venezuelan exports. Some 75 per cent of the countryโ€™s cash-generating oil shipments go the US, according to Barclays, but Mr Maduro retains the support of Russia, China, Turkey and Iran and is likely to divert shipments to them.

Didn't intend to jump the gun, been working on this a few days and still gathering info. But pretty fucking scary. We have installations on Puerto Rico that would detect anything flying nearby, but shit they could launch right from Caracas. And these hypersonics are nuclear-capable.
