I caught your post and also commented later that I was surprised it didn't make notables. I'm in my '70's and still working. I have had many careers that I made out of things that interested or challenged me. When I mastered them I got bored and moved onto something else that was interesting. I always hewed to the mantra that if it's not fun and fulfilling, don't do it regardless of the money. I was always able to monetize my interests because I went to the trouble of learning everything I could, and how to do every aspect of every job that came down the pike. I now have mad skill sets and can do anything I want because I wasn't stupid with my money.
Investing is for suckers. Work is what gets shit done. Learn to enjoy work, you'll be much happier.
