There's a whole other conversation here that people rarely have. Why are c-sections performed as often as they are? Yes, many more would die without this life saving procedure. The question people aren't asking is, why is it needed so often? To make a real comparison here, compare this issue to a dog breed that wouldn't exist without it:

English Bulldogs. That's right.

 

An entire subspecies of dog literally wouldn't exist without this man-made procedure. Nature would not allow it to be.

This anon gets it. Take a look at the chart in the link, then think. USA isnt Brazil, yet, but it's happening. Asian countries tried do NOT have this much of an issue with it as others. South Korea? Lots of American influence there, whereas Japan is very homogeneous.
