Good analysis anon.I was wondering about the sudden push as well and what is really driving it.

The path I was going down was that this is bait. They want the right to challenge the state laws in court so they can use it as a way to inflame and divide the women's vote.

Although these new laws are so heinous they're likely to lose some of their women supporters.

I just heard a great argument about this.

If there were a car accident in which a pregnant woman lost a baby, and the other driver was at fault. The other driver would be charged with manslaughter. Their inadvertent action led to the loss of the baby, and it is considered a crime due to negligence or recklessness.

In the new legislation, "the choice" is a deliberate action and yet not considered a crime.
