While I will admit to having an ego large enough to suspect whispers in the dark are about me - it would be rather silly to put much stock in them.
There is a new chapter coming out soon. You'll appreciate it, I think. The Devil is a Part-Timer, I don't exactly have the means my title implies. Yet, at least. It's not like I hide. If interested parties want to talk rather than whisper, they know how to get into contact. Otherwise, I can't put much stock in my own ego, now can I?

There are some things that are not an issue of devil or angel - things which even the devil would not permit and the angels not abide. Of course, this all depends on just who or what one believes the devil to be.

It's not logic, but a belief. Or… Maybe a job. People have certain beliefs drilled into them, and Q isn't very likely to change them. Not just on his own. For some people, they will always believe JFKjr is alive out there, somewhere.
We are all vulnerable to it in some way, shape, or form. It's human to believe in things and to pursue them in spite of the odds and well after it is logical to do so.
I am in the skeptical category, as well…. To put it lightly. I've seen this before over the years and it's always been in the realm of "investment scam" for me.

I was also meaning that it would not make sense for a company other than, say, GE, Shell, etc to come out with this tech. They usually have such effective patent mills that they can pretty much force a sale of the rights down anyone's throat if they create something interesting.
The only new startups are basically controlled opposition once they hit that scale. Others are internally sabotaged and scuttled.

It was amusing to me for about a week. Now I am tired of hearing stupid people process the reality that these companies loath them and consider them a captive market. It's increasingly obvious that businesses no longer compete with each other for quality/value of product, but instead the value of their stock shares.
Every company in the market (not just games) will be doing the same, soon. They'll use that internet connected toaster to charge you for each piece of toast. I guaranfuckingtee it.
Not going to happen until we get away from a debt leveraged currency.
Or collapse into a post apocalyptic hellscape. The fact I would prefer a post-apocalyptic hellscape to the status quo should be an indicator as to what I view the value of life under the current system being.
