Several cars went up in flames in a Newark Airport parking garage on Thursday in New Jersey, causing the garage to shut down.

Shortly after 7 a.m., the Newark Liberty International Airport Twitter reported that level 1 of the Terminal C parking garage was shut down due to an active fire. Visitors were asked to use levels 2 and 3 to pick up passengers.

Greek parliament to ratify Macedonia's NATO accession

ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Greece's government says it will bring the NATO accession agreement for Macedonia to parliament for ratification "in the coming days."

Officials will then formally inform the neighboring country, a process that will automatically bring into effect the Balkan country's name change to North Macedonia.

Government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos on Thursday described Greek lawmakers' recent ratification of the name deal as of "historic importance," noting it ends a 27-year dispute.

After Facebook, Google apologizes for running a user data collection program on iOS

Last night, just when we were trying to get our heads around Facebook‘s data collecting program, TechCrunch reported that Google also had an app that monitored users’ activities on an iPhone and rewarded them.

The Screenwise Meter app, launched in 2012, had a similar installation process to the Facebook Research app that’s now been shut down. It invited users aged 18 and above (or 13 and above in a family group), to install the app and the enterprise trust certificate in order to monitor users’ activities on their mobile devices.

In announcing a trumped up “state of emergency” that was recently declared by Washington Governor Jay Inslee in response to a measles outbreak in Clark County, Yahoo News accidentally let it slip that most of the children affected had actually been previously vaccinated against the disease – once again proving that vaccines don’t work.

Contrary to the mainstream media’s unsubstantiated narrative that this latest measles outbreak, like many others in the past, was supposedly caused by “the anti-vaccine movement,” it’s now apparent that it was actually a total failure of the MMR vaccine for measles, mumps, and rubella that resulted in children getting sick.

“The majority of those infected are children, many of whom have not been immunized against the disease,” reported AFP News, and republished by Yahoo News, indicating that at least some of the children stricken with measles had received the MMR in accordance with CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines.

Senior DOD Official: Three Migrant Caravans Headed To U.S., One With 12,000

(Breitbart) – There are three migrant caravans headed to the United States’ southern border with Mexico, according to top Pentagon official John Rood.

Rood testified to the House Armed Services Committee on Tuesday that one of the caravans contains over 12,000 migrants.

“Current information shows that a caravan of over 12,000 people — there’s three that we are tracking, that the DHS is tracking en route, one that is over 12,000 by the latest estimate,” said Rood, who is the under secretary of Defense for policy.

Rood said there are currently more than 2,300 active duty troops at the southern border, down from a high of 5,900 in November.

But defense officials say several thousands more active duty troops are expected to head to the border in the coming weeks, to assist the Department of Homeland Security with laying down more concertina wire, and helping to monitor the border between points of entry.

Democrats, who now control the House, called Pentagon officials in to testify on President Trump’s order of active duty troops to the border in October, which they have called a political stunt by the White House before midterm election.
