2019 will be glorious the downfall of the MSM for starters kek

Jill Stein lashes out at CNN for pushing debunked theory she helped Trump win

Former US Green Party candidate for president Jill Stein has accused CNN of trying to “blame and shame” independent voters by editing an interview to make it seem that she was responsible for Hillary Clinton’s loss in 2016.

Stein’s CNN appearance on Wednesday quickly turned antagonistic, with host Erin Burnett insistent on pushing blame for Clinton’s loss on the former presidential candidate, repeatedly telling viewers that Stein’s presence in the race was a “very important” factor in Clinton’s defeat because she received more votes than Donald Trump’s margin of victory in important states like Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Burnett, who maintained a dismissive and patronizing tone throughout the interview, then turned to alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election and cited a Senate Intelligence Committee report which concluded that Russia “tried to help” Stein’s campaign.

That report was authored by the founders of cybersecurity firm New Knowledge, one of whom was exposed by the New York Times in December for creating an army of fake Russian bots and running a false-flag campaign to discredit a Republican candidate for senate in Alabama in 2017 by implying he was helped by Russia on social media.

Turkey accuses US Coalition members of supporting ISIS and HTS in Syria

Certain members of the US-led coalition fighting against Daesh support militants from the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group in the Syrian province of Idlib as they are aspiring to wreck the Russian-Turkish agreement on de-escalation zone, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Thursday.

“Certain partners from the coalition support HTS… First, for the termination of the Idlib memorandum. Second, there are countries that are making great efforts to prevent the establishment of a constitutional committee just because we are doing it”, Cavusoglu told the Hurriyet newspaper.

He specified that some Western countries from the coalition were provoking HTS militants to violate the provisions of the Idlib memorandum by paying them money for it.

Walgreens Installing ‘Smart Coolers’ To Spy On Shoppers

An outright consumer rebellion is the only thing that will stop giant companies like Walgreens from micro-tracking you from entrance to exit. Walgreens offers an empty promise that they won’t track your identity, but that is nonsense because other stores are already doing exactly that! ⁃ TN Editor

Walgreens is piloting a new line of “smart coolers”—fridges equipped with cameras that scan shoppers’ faces and make inferences on their age and gender. On January 14, the company announced its first trial at a store in Chicago in January, and plans to equip stores in New York and San Francisco with the tech.

Demographic information is key to retail shopping. Retailers want to know what people are buying, segmenting shoppers by gender, age, and income (to name a few characteristics) and then targeting them precisely. To that end, these smart coolers are a marvel.

If, for example, Pepsi launched an ad campaign targeting young women, it could use smart-cooler data to see if its campaign was working. These machines can draw all kinds of useful inferences: Maybe young men buy more Sprite if it’s displayed next to Mountain Dew. Maybe older women buy more ice cream on Thursday nights than any other day of the week. The tech also has “iris tracking” capabilities, meaning the company can collect data on which displayed items are the most looked at.

Virginia Is 4th State To Reject Smart Metering Plans

In a serious blow to the establishment of Technocracy, four states rejected Smart Metering plans in 2018. Smart meters control energy distribution and consumption, which is a key requirement for Technocracy. People and legislators are pushing back across the nation.⁃ TN Editor

On January 17, Virginia utility regulators rejected Dominion Energy’s bid to deploy ‘smart’ electricity meters across the state.

In doing so, Virginia joins state regulators in Kentucky (Aug 2018), Massachusetts (May 2018), and New Mexico (April 2018) in rejecting ‘smart’ meters. In Canada, New Brunswick (July 2018) also rejected ‘smart’ electricity meters.

UPDATE 29 Jan 2019: We received word that parts of Kentucky do have ‘smart’ meters, and KU seems to be still deploying even though the PSC ruled against their proposal. There’s also a similar situation in New Mexico, where the regulatory ruling there seems to not apply to all utilities. We’d like your help to get to the bottom of such situations where regulatory rulings seem to be only partially applicable. If you have further info on these details, please comment below!!

Google’s Secret Pact With the Chinese Government

How Google profits from censorship… A potent cocktail for killing free society… A Declaration of Digital Rights…

You can’t trust Google…

Look no further than Project Dragonfly.

It’s the codename of Google’s secret project to build a censored version of its search engine for the Chinese government.

Web users in China can’t access regular Google search. The ruling Communist Party blocks it with its so-called Great Firewall – a suite of censorship technologies that stop Chinese internet users from seeing the same internet people outside of China see.

But thanks to Dragonfly, Communist Party bosses won’t have to block Google anymore with their firewall. Google’s new search app will feed Chinese internet users only the information the Party wants it to feed them.

How the IRS Uses Silicon Valley Software to Spy on You

A frightening new use for Fitbit health trackers… The app that tracks “deadbeat debtors”… Meet Silicon Valley’s creepiest company… In the mailbag: “Legalize it, tax it, and move on”

Take the new plan by the IRS to digitally spy on you…

In 2019, 152 million Americans… and 100 million businesses… will file tax returns with the IRS.

Americans will also file 3.6 billion “information returns” – such as the Form W-2 that employers must file on each of their employees… and the Form 1099 that covers rental property and dividend income.

And according to its 2018-2022 Strategic Plan, the IRS wants to search and access that data more effectively using new digital tech.

It’s why, last September, the IRS inked a $99 million contract with data-mining firm Palantir Technologies to build a supercomputer.

Palantir is one of Silicon Valley’s creepiest companies…

Founded by Peter Thiel, an early investor in Facebook, Palantir gets its name from the “palantíri” in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Also known as “Seeing-stones,” they’re dark, crystal spheres that show what’s going on in any part of the world.

And along with Google – which benefited from funding from the U.S. Intelligence Community – Palantir is evidence of the cozy relationship between the national security faction of the Deep State and Silicon Valley tech firms.

Thiel’s company got $2 million in early-stage funding from In-Q-Tel, the venture capital arm of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). (The “Q” comes from the character in the James Bond movies who makes Bond’s spy gadgets.)

Democrats Unveil Their Opening Bid On Border Wall Negotiations — Nothing

Democrats gave their opening bid on the first day of negotiations over a border security compromise: A plan that contains zero funding for a physical barrier.

A select group of 17 Republicans and Democrats from both the House and Senate met Wednesday for the first day of border negotiations. The group, formed after the federal government experienced the longest partial shutdown in U.S. history, is tasked with reaching a deal by Feb. 15 or else face the prospect of another shutdown.

However, it could prove nearly impossible for lawmakers to find a plan that can both pass Congress and earn President Donald Trump’s signature.

“If the committee of Republicans and Democrats now meeting on Border Security is not discussing or contemplating a Wall or Physical Barrier, they are Wasting their time!” the president tweeted Wednesday morning before the meeting.
