Underwhelming yes but at least it lead nunes down the right path. That said, the notion that Trump proposed "we need more republican votes" turns my stomach on so many levels. Knowing full well we're not voting our way out of this. This is the Reagan era all over again: Strong economy (distraction) followed by massive amnesty.
The reality is the outpouring of votes and support for Trump was (((their))) last chance before millions go dark and prepare for whats to come. Consider November as a deadline because even with 60 votes you still have neocons (McConnell and Ryan) holding the reigns of power. (((They))) still control all levers of power and influence unfortunately.
