He meant, if there are people, who think that Satan is real.
The answer to this is clearly "yes".
Many Christians believe (think) that Satan is real and they fear him.
And then there are those people, who also think that Satan is real and they worship him.
Q introduced his question, if the "thought" of Satan is real, by first asking, if Satan is real.
We don't know for sure, people have different opinions, beliefs here.
But to the following question, the important question, if "the thought of Satan is real", there is only one answer: yes.
Q wanted us to understand that the important matter is here that it doesn't matter, if we personally believe in the existence of Satan or not.
He wanted us to understand that the important thing here is to understand that SOME people THINK that Satan is real and what they would do then.
Some would fear him, we know this.
But not all of us were aware that Satan worshippers do really exist and they would do anything to "please" him….
