Seems like it would be easy to triangulate whatever is causing the problem with the right equipment.

US/Canada/Mexico cars operate the tire TPM and key fobs on 315MHz,

Europe/Asia cars operate same using 433MHz.

Australia I dont know because the tires use rubber stem vs a TPM.

Computer in cars, usually produced by Denso, talks/listens to tire TPMs and key fobs.
