>>4986666, >>4986672, >>4986676 (Bread #6366 Notable) There was no NTI data in USAspending.gov. However, their 'sister' organization (per one of the OP articles) WINS has rec'd ~$9 Million dollars from the USG.

So the USG gives millions to WINS but also gives tens of Millions to the IAEA. What does the IAEA money go to? Fekin' mosquitoes. Seriously? Everyone is worried about nuclear Armageddon and mosquitoes are involved?

WINS is organized in Austria, and since they aren't an American not-for-profit, they don't have to file with the IRS which will make finding their financials a bit more difficult (haven't looked yet). But it seems to me that with close to $90 Million dollars a year going to IAEA, the last thing we should be doing is replicating efforts with millions more to partner organizations. If the IAEA does not already "help ensure that all nuclear and other radiological materials and facilities are effectively secured by demonstrably competent professionals applying best practice to achieve operational excellence” then it is nothing more than a money laundering scheme and we put a full stop on its funding. The last thing we should be doing is funding another freakin' sister organization. (O/T - why are there no brother organizations?)
