Today I've been looking more into the MS-13 machine back at its home turf and how it obtained/retains its foothold in Central America, where the Central American Crisis left the northern triangle wide open for their ascent to power.
The U.S. openly supported the Central American Governments involved in heinous war crimes, often claiming ignorance, with their reasoning being the communist nature of the opposing organizations.
This could give valuable insight into immigrants' affinity to the left, as their genocidal elite-class governments claimed conservative beliefs even as they enforced their rule with big government.
MS-13 has a lot of political power, especially in its home county of El Salvador, where prisons have effectively become secure bases for its leaders, even allowing ownership and free use of cell phones.
The resulting chaos of their rule creates demand for the human trafficking trade, which they themselves supply, working with other organizations such as Los Zetas. People are sick of the gang influence, and the governments' complicity and/or incompentence in the matter.
MS-13 is also in the business of promising votes from specific neighborhoods in exchange for political favors.
These countries are ridden with poverty, and I can't help but wonder how many of the refugees even have the money to offer for their abusive escorts across the U.S. border. If not, I want to know who pays.
