it's perhaps easier to list the bad spots, which all happen to be around large metroplexes.
forget the entire eastern seaboard and western seaboard - both are the home turf of communism and corruption.
you are going to be pretty ok living in a small to medium sized town as long as you are away from the coasts and the DC area.
if you are truly seeking safety, then move to a place at least 30-45 minutes from any interstate highway, and that has a railroad running nearby.
there are more criteria to consider, but those should get you to places where the corruption is the usual greed and nepotism, but which is knowable.
