Near-60 teacher fag here. Flu vaccines are pushed on teachers big time 'cause we are in fact more at risk of contracting airborne illnesses than even ER workers. But I've done my research and come to find out the flu vaccines that they push are never more than an educated guess as to which virus mat be most prevalent in a given year. So I never got a flu vaccine, not even the free ones. Then ONE year my doctor talked me into it. I got the shot. Within 12 hours I got very ill. Felt like a horse had kicked me. Cough. Fever. Chills. The whole bit. Out of work for a week or more. Never, ever, again. I'll take the germs as they may come, never again through an injection.
