Black History Month - Who has your back?

Democrat Chuck Schumer wants to rename the US Senate building, why?

In 1972 The Democrats controlled the Senate, and James Strom Thurmond Sr. put through a bill to rename the US Senate building to honor Senator Richard Russell jr

here’s just one item about both of them Democrats:

Russell supported racial segregation and co-authored the Southern Manifesto with Strom Thurmond.[8] Russell and 17 fellow Democratic and one Republican Senators blocked the passage of civil rights legislation via the filibuster.

In 1973 Joe Biden joined the Senate… by 1975:

Biden was speaking in 1975, when he opposed the federally mandated busing policy designed to end segregation in schools. In the past few decades, he has claimed he wanted desegregation but believed the policy of busing would not achieve it. Last year, he stated he had voted heroically to protect busing.
