Don't trust the Chinese during these trade negotiations. Whatever deal the C_ are willing to give are just buy time and distract from the other preparations they are doing.
If you want to make sure that the Russians dont start getting closer with China and helping China, keep Russia engaged with real, good deals.
Otherwise Putin and his council willl run the numbers and decide that it's safer to invest longterm in China vs trusting America. Putin and his council don't trust and arent fans of China either but for them its either USA or China.
