Discernment.
The last few days have had a lot of repeated notables, over and over.
It clogs up the notables and when anons and diggers come on, they search the Notables to see what has been posted on so far.
Having to wade through crap and repeats weighs it down. Also, it creates less each bread's notables at top
Carry on, we are just asking for just the important stuff that hasn't already been in notables 3x.
When the notables are light (5-6) then adding an older important notable (if you notice new news about it or peaked interest) then it makes sense.\
But, repeating when it was notable 2-3 breads prior and you already have 15 notables, it's not necessary.
