There's only one reason Northam is not stepping down and that is to keep the next intended slot open for AG Herring. He is the next chosen one. They will be damned to let someone like Fairfax in office. Northam was very much a part of what was photographed in the mid 80's and very well still is. They are a club that walk many of halls in Va. The VA club is much larger than 3 white men, come on now. Think of it like the mafia with different turfs. He overstepped onto the baby killer turf so he is being punished. But he can't step aside because that would place a black man into office. They, the racist family, can't have that.
