JUST A REMINDER: if you own land, especially in Texas, the cartels are moving in, and camping out already on stolen/trespassed land, getting their pot grows underway.
Many are armed. They will redirect water sources, destroy fencing, and trash out the area they occupy.
Do not walk large areas of land alone.
Thefts of ATVs will spike in the areas of the pot grows. Mini bikes and even golf carts are used to access the areas.
You can thank the dirty cops and slimey land men that help them locate the areas they choose to occupy for illicit pot grows.
The dirty cops want areas they can easily 'protect' without being overt in their actions; and the land men help locate areas that are rarely visited by absentee owners.
(Hint: which Texas county has a deputy sheriff with his own airplane and large oil and gas holdings that puts him in touch with land men in his non-'law enforcement' work?)
We watched them bring in two diff grows last year; and this year's weak Texas winter weather means an early spring and again, a two pot grow season.
What are the odds that no pot grows have been busted in east Texas in a couple of years? The cartels didn't quit growing.
Last major busts, 2016. Few arrested. Cartel involved.
Be safe out there.
