Yes, I realize that now, more than 50 years later, kek. I was mostly healthy as a kid, but when I got sick, I got very sick. Like in that instance I actually had scarletina which is strep throat and scarlet fever at the same time. I literally remember hallucinating with that fever, the walls kind of melting and voices sounded like through a tunnel. These were the days when the doctor would come to the house, but as I recall it was mid-winter and in the middle of the night so the at-home remedies were a necessity. Another time I got chicken pox and measles at the same time. Also had the mumps another time. But the funniest of all the "childhood illnesses" stories I recall is when my brother got impetigo and it spread to his ass and my mother literally made him stick his ass out the window at night to get air on it. kekekekek We still rib him about that one. But… ahem…sorry…I digress…
