Going away isn't necessarily a good thing. The guy waiting in the
wings is even worse (w.r.t. abortion). If Northam stays and fights,
he'll help put to bed this nonsense that these silly "insensitive" things
kids do in college should matter 30 years later. Also, the more he
fights this, the more press his actual problem gets, and the more
likely the true motive behind him being outed is revealed. This is an own goal.
