Wanted to share a happening i recently became aware of. In the larger online community pertaining to a particular handicraft a mini storm erupted. It began with an innocent blog post that was then invaded by a self described poc who denounced the blogger for their alleged white privilege. (Having read said post, personally i didn't find anything even close.) Then hordes of sjws descended on IG to excoriate not only the blogger but spread out over the IGs of anyone who defended the author against the charge. Subsequently several prominent people in the community made podcasts about the issue, some predictably falling into the trap of apologizing for having been born pale and vowing to sheriff themselves in the future so that the less pale don't continue with teh butthurtz. Encouragingly, some pcasters spoke out against the sjws and even more encouragingly a large, large percentage of comments to the pcasts of both types spoke to how sick and tired they were of constantly being accused of racism simply by virtue of being pale, how ridiculous the whole tempest in a teapot it was, how tired they had become of the crap on social media lately (ie, libtard crap) and how many of them had deleted their IG and FB accounts. This, coming from a community who have a hobby most here would associate with their grannies and great grannies.

I won't provide links because they all seem to have been a bit traumatizes by it and i don't want to add to their misery by enabling trolls and shills to find them. But i wanted to tell about it because it shows that while many might think nothing is happening to the larger herd of sheeple, things are indeed changing. Even in this community, people have gone all Network - they're mad as hell and they're not gonna take it anymore.
