We have both HRC and McAuliffe calling for resignation.
We know that McAuliffe and the Clintons have a very cozy relationship (major fundraiser for them; "guaranteed the Clintons' $1.35 million mortgage for their home in Chappaqua", board member for CF, etc.

What was the relationship between McAuliffe and Northam? How did McAuilffe select Northam to serve as Lieutenant Governor under him? What was the vetting process? (Surely they had a vetting process for the state equivalent of VP, right?) Did they know each other well before Northam was selected as LG? Surely they would have come to know each other well while they were in office. This is the first time McAuliffe has heard of this? And given the cozy r'ship with WJC and HR "they all look alike, don't they" C, this is the first time they have heard of it too?
