I had a thought, to maybe try and calm the hostility against MAGA hats a bit by "tricking" more people into wearing them out.
My 13yo kid tells me about all these idiot "challenges" on YT/FB/IG.
Ice bucket challenge- we all know this one
Birdbox challenge- Drive/walk blindfolded (darwin award)
Pants challenge- wet a pair of jeans and put them outside in polar vortex where the insta-freeze and stand up without anyone wearing them
etc….
We could start the MAGA hat Challenge- challenge people to wear a MAGA hat outside and see how long they go before someone says something to them, then document and put online.
It will get A LOT of people who normally wouldn't wear a MAGA hat to put one on, and also publicize how shitty people are who confront them.
This will esp resonate with younger crowd bc they love shit like this.
