I strongly suspect that Putin has been sending signals to the US military to warn them about Deep State plans. Then there was the video about missile launch systems in a standard shipping container, hidden in an enemy port. That came out around the time Obama sold out some American container ports to Arab countries. I think this was another Putin warning and I expect that the miitary cranked up the scrutiny on ports, found some suspicious containers, and neutralized them.
It is not our job to warn the military about potential dangers. We should not waste time digging on areas that are already public knowledge or are outside the responsibility of the DOJ. Fact is that Putin is the leader of Russia. He is not directly relevant to the USA.
He makes public statements in support of Christianity. This is good. Inside Russia he visits churches regularly, this is also good. He tells Russians that christian traditions make Russia great. This is good for Russia, and if any Americans hear that and decide to become christian, it is good for the USA.
But still, Putin is the leader of Russia not the USA. He is not threatening America so Trump doesn't spend much time on Russia. This is a good thing. We now see why Trump spent so much time on China. There are real threats there, open ones such as economic unfair competition and hidden ones such as China supporting North Korea. And talking to Hussein.
