More on Abu Sayaff in Philippines:

This is in response to the church bombing in the city of Jolo, which occurred ONE DAY after the referendum vote on the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region. In a nutshell, after centuries of fighting and most recently a year of martial law, the Muslim area of the Philippines voted in their own autonomous governance. And the very next day bombed the main Catholic church in Jolo, which has traditionally been the hub of islamic activity. In fact, Christians account for only 1% in that particular area. So, you know, lets bomb them into oblivion.

Thankfully Duterte is not having it. I hope he and Trump can renew some friendly tiesโ€ฆ.Philippines could really really use US backing right now in the South China Sea.

I'll throw this out there, because I watch Dutchsinse and follow tectonic activity:

There has been a big tectonic increase in the last few years pretty much globally. Its surprising how much is in the USA even, which I always thought of as kind of 'inert' before.

Whatever cycle the Earth is going through is shifting things deep down, and the places on the surface which show it most tend to be those places where we have drilled, tunneled, etc. Which is not that surprising.

I'm not saying there are no DUMBSโ€ฆbut I think a lot of these subterranean booms are more tectonic. As you point out, the reports are very widespread. Sometimes they have been accompanied by flashes of light, which is another tectonic indicator.
