Poll: Immigration is top concern, and Democrats are winning

Immigration has become one of the top concerns of Americans, and the nation is getting in line behind Democrats in their fight with President Trump over a border wall and amnesty, according to a new survey.

Nearly eight-in-10 cited immigration as a top issue to them in the midterm congressional election and 21 percent call it the “country's most important problem,” according to Gallup.

According to Gallup:

• 60 percent oppose significant new construction on border walls.

• 81 percent support a path to citizenship for immigrants in the U.S. illegally.

• 61 percent oppose deporting all immigrants in the U.S. illegally back to their home country.

• 75 percent favor hiring more Border Patrol agents.

NBC News, to Claim Russia Supports Tulsi Gabbard, Relies on Firm Just Caught Fabricating Russia Data for the Democratic Party

NBC NEWS PUBLISHED a predictably viral story Friday, claiming that “experts who track websites and social media linked to Russia have seen stirrings of a possible campaign of support for Hawaii Democrat Tulsi Gabbard.”

But the whole story was a sham: the only “experts” cited by NBC in support of its key claim was the firm, New Knowledge, that just got caught by the New York Times fabricating Russian troll accounts on behalf of the Democratic Party in the Alabama Senate race to manufacture false accusations that the Kremlin was interfering in that election.
