Believe it or not, I do love discussion of God's Words. And I'm not above being wrong. It's just that the actual word needs to be in black and white for me. Unfortunately, the word rapture is not in it.
Sorry, used to be Baptist, Hal Lindsay fan, until the minister told me to read Revelation and pic one of the Great Mystery Rapture times.
I then went on an intense 24-7 month long search for the truth.
Ever read Corrie Ten Boom's warning to Christians, concerning the "Rapture"? Unfortunately, I just went to the page to post the link here and it has been taken down. I don't think that I saved it, but will look. Funny, I had referenced it a few months ago.
Pat Robertson did a show about it, and how it virtually wiped out Christianity in China, where dispensationalism was tested on a massive scale. Perhaps, I can find a link to that.
The word Rapture is not in the Bible. If there was this "rapture", why does Paul never call it a resurrection?
Jesus didn't call "him - the great deceiver" for nothing. I was deceived also.

Rev. 6: 9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the alter the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.
I believe that these are souls only "under the alter" (in Paradise), not joined with a new human body yet. Where is under the alter?
