I considered myself pro choice until a) I learned they’re using parts for nefarious reasons b) the legalization of late term abortions. I still think that given certain conditions, it is necessary because children born to unwanted homes and in some cases even adoption, carry some tragedy for society. Abortions will still exist whether it’s legal or not. My mother gave a child up for adoption before I was born, we met him, he killed himself at 50. He had a wide range of bizarre issues that I’ll never be able to understand. Carrying a child is not easy and people rarely speak of the traumas that can occur to both the mother and child when a child is raised outside of a traditional family home. It’s easy to judge and think that you know the right answer but life is often more complicated than that.
Of course I realize that. I don’t want to slide the topic because it does seem that we agree for the most part. I’m just saying I’ve seen the other side of what can occur and it wasn’t good for anyone. I’m sure there are plenty of good stories too, just not from my mothers’ and brothers’ experience.
You can discount his attempting to molest people and his suicide out of the concept that he shouldn’t have been “murdered”, but like I said, life is often more complicated than that.
Oh I see, you’re just here to start trouble. 50 posts. Thanks then, take care.
