Capitalism, if left without government oversight except for cases of fraud and theft has this beautiful thing called "the invisible hand".
This "hand" is what allows you to forge your own destiny in commerce by differentiating yourself, your product and or your service in clever ways from your competitors. Racing strengthens the breed and healthy competition is what spurs on our society into the future.
Volumes can be written so this is a sophomoric description at best.
