Q CLEARANCE

In 1983, actor Charlton Heston received Q clearance in order to narrate instructional films for DOE related to nuclear weapons. He held Q clearance for 6 years. This was during the Reagan administration. Reagan also held Q clearance.

I just happened to find out this info last night after researching him after watching his very first film "Dark City". I was quite surprised on learning this. Considering Heston's staunch support of the 2nd Amendment, I now wonder what he found out during his Q years.
