I just want to get this out there and acknowledge that I'm somewhat hypocritical concerning everything that's happening here. In theory, I shouldn't like the power POTUS is wielding with executive orders or the precedent set by something like acknowledging a different head of state in Argentina.

But I believe the scope of what's happening and the absolute moral war between good and evil that's being waged right now justifies suspending my philosophical gripes about the balance of power in favor of success with this agenda and victory in this war.

Right now, I'd practically be comfortable with Trump temporarily acting effective like the King of America while I don't even think people like Hillary should be allowed to vote. I know I'd be upset if someone like Obama was going to use a National Emergency to unilaterally advance his agenda. But because I support Trump's goals and trust his team, it doesn't bother me.

I'm okay with being a little hypocritical here, because I think it's more important to carry out justice, restore order, and unrig the game. I'm okay with prioritizing the big picture over consistency with what I think the "norm" of governing should look like. But I just wanted to get the fact that that's what I'm feeling off my chest and see if others feel they're doing something similar.

Love the way you think, anon. I'm glad Q team and POTUS aren't abusing any powers, just wielding the fullest possible weight of them even when that's cashing in on iffy precedent set by the dems. I hope when this is all over we won't have any need for these offices to be anything other than by the book and even boring. But when times are as dire and the stakes are this high, I support using every inch of rope available if it's what's needed.
