Religious Freedom Under Attack in Multiple States

This is for Jersey, but pay careful attention, as this is going on in WA and elsewhere right now too.

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AT STAKE IN NJ On Thursday, January 31, 2019, the bill A3818 to restrict the religious exemption to vaccination was amended. This bill passed the Assembly Health Committee in April and would have required people to defend their religious beliefs, tightening the religious exemption. The amendments that were made this week propose to COMPLETELY REMOVE THE RELIGIOUS EXEMPTION from New Jersey law. The amendments seek also to change several public laws that have been in place that allow for religious exemption.

These amendments were made without public notice and without legislators having them to review beforehand. These amendments are NOT law YET. Please email and call your assembly representatives in your district and tell them you oppose A3818 which will now strip NJ citizens of their religious freedom and will eliminate exemption to vaccination.
