The lower thinking always seeks to destroy the higher knowledge.

The Kingdom of Heaven is within you. Closer than your neck vein.

It's our poor quality of being that keeps up locked out. Perhaps luckily, it's on a moment-by-moment basis in which Eternity exists and is, therefore ,orthogonal to time. It's outside of time.

If a man were to get a glimpse and see the number of people who are, in fact, dead inside but who rule his life he would go mad with horror.

Perhaps you should ask a real question? You know, one you don't have the answer to.

There are four states of consciousness possible for man because of the organization of our three centers of intelligence - thinking, feeling and moving/instinctive. Because of the poor conditions of life and lack of proper development, those three centers rarely operate in harmony and the ordinary man experiences only two of those states. Both of which are forms of sleep in which he does not remember himself.

It's true that in the fourth state, what may be referred to as cosmic consciousness, a man cannot remember what he experienced when he returns to his ordinary state and his descriptions are those of the mystics.

But a man who can remember himself is experiencing the third state of consciousness, which is more vivid than his ordinary waking sleep. Plus, in such a state he can 'do'. Otherwise, everything happens and his being attracts his life.

You think too highly of yourself and of the man-machine. You see, man is a part, along with the animal and vegetable kingdoms, of the thin film of organic life covering the Earth, which is a being in its own right in the Cosmic Ray of Creation.

Man is created by Nature and for Nature's purposes. It just so happens that as a result of his service he has certain possibilities of further development than that provided automatically by Nature.

This further development requires many things, including conscious labor and intentional (as opposed to useless), suffering.
