Posted this at the end of a one of the breads. The F-15 in Q's pic is a mirror image.
It's amazing how early some of the designs were developed. Here is a 1959 shot of the A-12, which later became the SR71. This pic is a radar model, but the A-11 was modified with these twin fins in 1958.
