Yes, it speaks volumes that it's even close. It really does.

But still, Jesus' words about Jews are basically a collection of funny little anecdotes about him getting annoyed by some especially obnoxious Jew being especially obnoxious to his face, whereas his allegories and speeches are about โ€ฆ God's Kingdom.

I'm well aware of Jesus' opinion of Jews. He didn't like them a lot, to put it mildly.

But you seem to TOTALLY have missed the point about why Jesus was even here. He was NOT here to fight against Jews, he was here to show the "lost sheep of Israel" (us) the path to liberate ourselves from this fallen world ruled by Jews and others of their ilk, so that we can be redeemed into God's Kingdom where we belong.

If you missed that part, then you seriously need to reread Jesus' crumbs.

Hahaha, I've been called many things on the internet, but this is the first time I've been called a Jehovas Witness!

It's amazing some of you people fail to notice that Jesus was talking of God's Kingdom. I never post Bible verses, but I'll make an exception just for you:

โ€”

Matthew 4:17

From that time Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Matthew 9:35

Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

Matthew 10:7

"And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

Luke 4:43 (really take note of this one!)

But He said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose."

Luke 9:2

And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.

Luke 10:9

and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'

Matthew 13:31-32

He presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES."

Mark 4:30-32

And He said, "How shall we picture the kingdom of God, or by what parable shall we present it? "It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the soil, though it is smaller than all the seeds that are upon the soil, yet when it is sown, it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and forms large branches; so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR can NEST UNDER ITS SHADE."

Luke 13:18-19

So He was saying, "What is the kingdom of God like, and to what shall I compare it? "It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and threw into his own garden; and it grew and became a tree, and THE BIRDS OF THE AIR NESTED IN ITS BRANCHES."

Matthew 13:33

He spoke another parable to them, "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened."

Luke 13:20-21

And again He said, "To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? "It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened."

Matthew 16:28

"Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."

Mark 9:1

And Jesus was saying to them, "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power."

Luke 9:27

"But I say to you truthfully, there are some of those standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God."

Luke 11:20

"But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Luke 16:16

"The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.

Luke 17:20-21

Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst."

Luke 22:18

for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes."

Matthew 26:29

"But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."

Mark 14:25

"Truly I say to you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God."

Matthew 6:10

'Your kingdom come Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

Luke 11:2

And He said to them, "When you pray, say: 'Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.

โ€”

Hmm, seems to me God's Kingdom was a pretty big deal to Jesus.

โ€ฆand yet, in spite of all this calling out the Jews for being the obnoxious hypocrites and devil spawn in general that they are, Jesus never once instructed his disciples and followers to go out there and spread the message about the Jew!

Instead he told them to spread something known as "the gospel" - which is the message about the upcoming Kingdom of God.

You may not like it, but Jesus was not a revolutionary, he was not interested in fighting either Jews or Romans, he was interested in redeeming your soul from this fallen world.

Some people thought he was nuts back then, and some people still think he was nuts, but that's how it is.
