Attenion Aspiring Bakers!

Experienced baker will be available for AMA-time every weekday morning about 8:45-9:45 EST, and nights 6:30-11:30pm EST. (As well as weekends way too fucking much of the time, kek.)

We always need new bakers. If you love your country and want to help Q & POTUS save it, consider learning to bake.

1) feel free to ask me or any baker initial just-curious questions or address concerns, incl. timing, notable-selection, dealing w/shills, etc.

2) see Learn to Bake materials at the very bottom of initial dough posts, then ask follow-up specifics

3) practice anytime by keeping a set of your own notables alongside baker. If yours are about 60% or more the same, you're good

4) throw a practice bake up in /comms/ to iron out logistics – it's a board set up for this, you can't fuck anything up – then ask any baker-on-duty to check it out, and/or any follow-up questions if you're hitting snags

5) Next time baker starts new dough, respond to dough post that you'd like to try your first bake, and could a baker or BO/BV please spot you. –or–

next time we have a No Baker/Ghost Handoff situation, just announce to anons you'll do it but could an ebaker keep eyes on as you're still learning. BO/BV always lurking too tho, they'll throw a new bread up if for some reason your first try doesn't go through. (Mine didn't – but I kept trying, and now I'm a chronic masterbaker!)

Dudes, just do it. If you're a faggot who's putting it off cuz autists are perfectionists and we hate being beginners at stuff, just stahp. We all made mistakes in the beginning, everyone's always supportive, and will cock-slap "anons" who aren't. The logistics of baking are easily mastered after a time or two, you're all smart enough to figure 'em out. You refine your notables-selection process little by little, most of us are still doing it even after many months baking.

Bottom line: baking's awesome, I love it. It hones your attention, gets you sitting in the pocket of a bread in a way lurking/digging/shitposting just doesn't. You also get a lot of good feels of gratitude from Anons and brotherhood w/fellow bakers. It might seem like you take constant flak from shills, but it's comfy 99% of the time, you learn how to ignore it the occasional flare-up. You develop quite the thick skin, which I've found valuable beyond just the board.

So help out your brothers-at-arms, frens. Don't shirk this chance to leave your own personal mark on the Great Awakening. Suit up and join the baking team.
