If I had to guess I would say the decent (due to lack of dealing with the corruption and rising inequality of this republic) into widespread socialism then to anarchy and the rise of a dictator before a new Republic is formed is historically how the cycle goes. Maybe toss a WWIII somewhere’s in there.
