One reason boomers (and I use the term respectfully) have flocked to this board is that the chans are more like 1970s America than anything else in the world.

The 60s and 70s were a great time to grow up, believe it or not this country was a million times freer than it is today.

We had books of Jewish jokes and Polack jokes, National Lampoon, SNL when it was funny, and yes dead baby jokes, and people had thick enough skin you could actually tell jokes and not worrying about who you offended.
