The commanding officer's report of what happened in the USS Fitzgerald Incident was published online in August 2017.
It was 41 pages long including photographs and diagrams and I read it all and reported on it HERE on QResearch.
So somebody in the MSM decided to read the report and write a narrative-style story reiterating the same details that were in the Navy's report.
