Trump spends a lot of time and energy putting himself in a position where Dems will come out and attack him, revealing their true nature to the voters.
I think the same thing might be going on with Israel. Besides, money buys power and influence. Who's to say what that $38bn will be used for?
Yep, that has always been a big riddle. In the past you could probably put it down to security of oil in the area, but that's not so relevant now. US is the biggest producer now, and Venezuela might be unlocked soon. Also the Saudis might be brought in to line now (SA and Israel have inextricably linked pasts and futures. The US was kind of locked in since the formation of the Jewish state and SA, mainly because of its allies though, Great Britain in particular, but again because of oil.
That's just the way I see it anyway.
