United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced that a Sioux Falls, South Dakota, man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on 11 counts of Wire Fraud and Money Laundering.
Paul Erickson, age 56, was indicted on February 5, 2019. He appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno on February 6, 2019, and pleaded not guilty to the Indictment.

Erickson earned a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1988.
In addition to his political work while in college, Erickson worked in 1985 as the deputy campaign manager for Richard Viguerie’s unsuccessful campaign for Virginia lieutenant governor.
Erickson worked as an executive producer of Red Scorpion (1988), an anticommunist action film produced by Jack Abramoff.
