With the benefit of a few days' perspective - also understood as "actual research" - The supposed "hate crime" against Empire actress Jussie Smollett is starting to look suspect.

But the deeper hilarity behind Smollett's quote "getting attacked by two white men in MAGA hats with a noose and bleach… who had just so happened to be wandering around downtown Chicago at 2 am in -30 degree weather, of which the only video evidence that exists proves you didn't even drop your sandwich…" is that the very liberal wet dream Smollett described to police turned out to be - almost instantly - Democrat Governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam.

It was learned that not only was there photographic evidence of Northam's standard Democrat racism in two separate yearbooks, but still further, that blackface and KKK hoods were such a habit that he earned the nickname "Coonman."
